- MONA CITY COUNCIL VACANCY Mona City hereby gives public notice that a vacancy has occurred on the Mona City Council. In accordance with Utah Code ยง20A1510, the City Council will appoint a qualified individual to fill the remainder of the term. Eligibility Requirements Applicants must: Be a registered voter in Mona City Be a resident of Mona City for at least 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the appointment Meet all other legal qualifications for municipal office How to Apply Interested individuals must complete an application. Applications may be delivered to: Mona City Offices 20 West Center Street Mona, Utah 84645 Or emailed to: Alicia.hills@monautah.gov Deadline All application materials must be received no later than Wednesday February 11, 2026, at 3:00 pm. Appointment Meeting The Mona City Council will consider applicants and make an appointment during a public meeting on: Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 6:00 pm Applicants are encouraged to attend and may be asked to speak briefly.
