Town of Cedar Fort Cemetery Committee Meeting Minutes November 5, 2025 Time: 7:20 PM - 7:36 PM Location: Town Hall Attendance Present: Linda Norris Andra Carter Vicki Draper Absent: Cody Cook Gina Hacking 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 7:20 PM. 2. Opening Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Opening Prayer was offered by Vicki. 3. Cemetery Items A. Gazebo Project Gazebo has been purchased from Lowe's and currently stored at Vicki's home (boxed, ~600 lbs). Awaiting concrete bid from Kimball; attempts to contact have been unsuccessful. Concern that concrete pouring may need to wait until spring due to cold weather. Suggested pad size: 12 ft x 12 ft, approximately 3 inches thick. A building permit is likely required; Vicki will begin the permit process with Andrea. Discussion regarding possible temporary storage at the Community Center if needed. Material believed to be treated wood; should store well over winter. B. Century/Chronicle Mapping Update Second payment submitted. Ground sonar completed. Mapping expected by December, 2-3 month turnaround. Next steps: integrate maps into the Chronicle system and set up annual hosting for ongoing updates. C. Upcoming Meeting Schedule Motion: Skip December 2025 and January 2026 meetings due to no pressing business. Vote: Unanimously approved. D. Public Comment Update requested on cemetery cleanup: Completed mainly by youth volunteers and leaders. Weeding completed at the old cemetery; some erosion requires gravel rather than soil refills. Cleanup turnout was minimal; consideration needed for future maintenance strategy. Committee position notice: Vicki's committee term expires in December. Position will be posted; Vicki intends to reapply. Notification and deadline will be provided by Wyatt. 4. Adjournment Motion to adjourn approved unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 7:36 PM.
