- Notice of Public Hearing Notice is hereby given of a public hearing before the LaVerkin City Planning Commission on January 28, 2026 at 6 p.m. at 111 S. Main Street in LaVerkin, Utah, for the purpose of receiving public comment regarding the approval of anAN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LaVERKIN CITY CODE AMENDING THE DEFINITION OF THE DETACHED ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS ('DADUs') TO ALLOW SHORT-TERM RENTALS (VACATION RENTALS) FOR LOT/PARCEL THAT ARE 8,000 SQ. FT. OR LARGER IN RESIDENTIAL ZONES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Ordinance approving Detached Accessory Dwelling to be short term rented. A copy of the complete Ordinance is available for public review and copying at the LaVerkin City Office at 435 N. Main, LaVerkin, Utah. The public is invited to attend.
