Summit County Service Area #3
NOTICE OF FEE HEARING
Pursuant to Section 17B-1-643 of the Utah Code, the Summit
County Service Area #3 Board of Trustees will hold a public
hearing at 6:00 pm on January 20, 2026, to consider revisions to
the Service Area's water rate schedule. The hearing will take
place at the Richins Building Auditorium, located at 1885 Ute
Blvd., Park City, Utah, and will be held following a related public
hearing on the proposed bond.
The proposed amendments to the water rate schedule are
needed for the Service Area to issue a bond to finance upgrades
and improvements to its water system. The proposed
amendments will not apply to residents who are not adjacent to
the Service Area's water system and who receive water from
privately owned and operated wells.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment on the
proposed imposition or increase of the water rates and to
explain the reasons for the same.
The proposed water rates will be made available for public
inspection on January 13, 2026, at the Service Area's offices at
629 Parkway Drive, Park City, Utah and on the Service Area's
website at: https://www.summitcountyutah.gov/733/Service-
