FRUIT HEIGHTS CITY STRATEGIC PLANNING MEETING AGENDA January 13, 2025; 6:00pm Fruit Heights City Hall, Basement. 910 S Mountain Road Fruit Heights City Utah 1. Call to order and welcome. 2. Prayer or thought (Blake) 3. Pledge (David) 4. Dish up dinner and take seats 5. Overview of objectives for this meeting a. Review Mission Statement (adopted by a previous council). Amend as desired. (5-8 min) b. Discussion: Our Values, Roles and Expectations discussed and clearly defined. (30-35 min) c. Review of FHC's Strategic Priorities (3-5 min) d. Identify areas of success and areas for learning from 2025 (10-12 min) e. Identify specific goals and actions for 2026, each area (45-60min) f. Circle back to add any additional thoughts on Values, Roles, Expectations (15 min or as needed) 6. Mission Statement: It is the mission of Fruit Heights City to provide quality services to the residents and community that will continue to enhance the quality of life and foster great relationships. 7. Research best practices and other cities, then bring ideas to discussion, 1st mtg in Feb. - Q: can we define a pattern for how we will respond when a resident emails citycouncil@fruitheights.gov? - Website is getting an update this year - new look. Ideas for improvements we could include to make things easier to access for residents? 1. Public Notices - front page spot 2. Traffic Page - - - - b. Safety - E-bike policy and public education efforts (Darren) - Digital speed signs - identify number and placement desired - Use our armadillo to track speeds and post results on Traffic Page - Street and bike lane striping - identify high priority areas - CCC - Emergency Prep Fair - WUI HB 48-education efforts to residents of (overlap with Communication) (we must pass an ordinance, which must go through PC first - look for it in March) - - - - - e.
