o Review and approve minutes from the previous Commission meeting

o Review current officer positions and terms
o Confirm whether any officer re-elections or appointments are needed
4. Financial Snapshot - Mid-Fiscal Year Overview (Discussion)
o Brief overview of current funding and expenditures
o Review funding timeline through June 30, 2026, and transition to the next fiscal year
o Identify general priorities for use of remaining funds
5. Commission Roles, Responsibilities, and Bylaws Review (Discussion)
o Review Commission member roles and expectations
o Overview of bylaws, policies, and procedures
o Identify any areas for future clarification or updates
6. Calendar Year Goals (Discussion)
o Begin discussion of priority goals for the 2026 calendar year
o Discuss how prevention, engagement, and community connection support these goals
o Note that goals will be refined once hyper-local SHARP data is released
7. Planning Structure Between Commission Meetings (Discussion)
o Discuss options for moving work forward between Commission meetings, including:
Workgroups, subcommittees, and/or small planning groups
o Discuss expectations for:
Scope and duration, meeting frequency, and reporting back to the Commission
o Clarify Commission member participation and public meeting considerations
8. 2026 Event Timing and Planning Framework (Continued Discussion)
o Continue discussion of event ideas previously introduced
o Review possible timing and general scope for potential initiatives, including:
Teen Appreciation Award / Teen Prevention event(s)
New City leadership orientation
Key Leader Dinner planning

Summer film event paired with training or workshop discussion
Participation in back-to-school nights at local schools (August)

o Discuss criteria and timing for advancing ideas to a planning phase, including which items may need additional information before next steps
