1. Introduction & Project Overview
Ferron City is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the professional disassembly, transport, and re-erection of an existing open steel-frame barn. The city is preparing for the construction of a new livestock facility and requires the current structure located at approximately 150 S. 50 W. in Ferron, Utah-to be dismantled.
2. Scope of Work
The selected vendor will be responsible for the following:
- Disassembly: Systematic dismantling of a steel structure (approx. 150' L x 72' W x 14' H) currently attached to concrete footers.
- Organization: Stacking and labeling all components in an orderly manner to ensure efficient reconstruction.
- Relocation: Transporting all materials to a site approx. one block away.
- Re-erection: Complete assembly of the structure at the new location TBD.
3. Project Timeline
Strict adherence to the following schedule is required:
- Disassembly Completion: No later than January 19, 2026.
- Re-erection Completion: No later than March 1, 2026.
4. Proposal Requirements
Each proposal must include:
- Company Profile: Legal name, address.
- Relevant Experience: Summary of similar steel structure or relocation projects completed.
- References: Contact information for at least three professional references.
- Cost Proposal: A detailed, line-item breakdown of costs.
o Note: Ferron City is open to discussing a 'trade-in-kind' agreement where the contractor retains approximately half of the structure's materials in lieu of a portion of the cash payment. Which would be the south side of the structure.

7. Submission Instructions
Proposals must be received electronically no later than the deadline stated above. Late submissions will not be considered. Ferron City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive informalities in the bidding process.
