1. Purpose
Milford City is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed contractors to perform exterior painting, fascia repair, and related exterior improvements on the Old Fire Station located at 86 West 300 South. The City intends to select a contractor capable of delivering quality workmanship in a timely and professional manner.

2. Scope of Work
The selected contractor will be responsible for the following:
1. Surface Preparation
- Scraping and removing all loose or peeling existing paint on designated areas of the structure.
- Cleaning surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of new paint.
- Protecting nearby surfaces, and public areas during preparation and painting.
2. Painting
- Applying appropriate primer as needed.
- Applying high-quality exterior paint to all designated painted surfaces.
- Painting the door and frame on the south side of the building along with the east side of the building.
- Note: The cinderblock portions of the building are not to be painted.
3. Fascia & Structural Repairs
- Inspecting damaged sections of fascia.
- Repairing or replacing damaged fascia boards.
- Scraping, painting, and sealing all fascia and exposed roof trusses.
- Repairing loose and crumbling cinder block on the north side of the building.
4. Vinyl Wrapping (as shown in photos provided)
- Wrapping Bay # 3, #4, # 5 door frames in vinyl.
- Installing a sheet of plywood on above all bays under the old siding, then wrapping as designated.
- Wrapping the four slats above all the bay doors in vinyl.
- Wrapping the board that the outdoor light is mounted on in vinyl, if feasible.
5. Site Cleanup
- Removal of all construction/painting debris.
- Restoring area to a clean and orderly condition.

3. Project Timeline
- Proposal Deadline: December 9, 2025, at 2 PM
- Project Completion: Within 30 days of contract award, with reasonable adjustments permitted for weather.

4. Contractor Requirements
Interested contractors must:
- Hold all required Utah contractor licenses.
- Carry appropriate liability insurance and provide proof upon request.
- Submit a written proposal including:
o Total project cost
o Estimated work schedule
o Description of materials and products to be used
o Warranty information (if applicable)
o References for similar work completed

7. Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on:
- Cost competitiveness
- Contractor qualifications
- Quality of proposed materials
- Ability to meet schedule
- References and past performance
Milford City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to select the proposal that best serves the City's interests.
