MILLCREEK PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice of Vacancy and Appointment as Council Member for District 3
Pursuant to Utah Code ยง 20A-1-510, Millcreek hereby gives notice of a vacancy of council member for District 3 due to a midterm resignation. The remaining term will be from November 24, 2025, until the next council member is sworn in (early January 2028) following the election in 2027.
Individuals interested in being considered for appointment must meet the qualifications for office and submit their application for consideration. Applicants must:
- Be a United States citizen.
- Be a registered voter of Millcreek.
- Be a resident of Millcreek for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the appointment date of November 24, 2025.
- Be a resident of City Council District 3 (see map HERE, under Boundaries)
The application (can be found online, https://www.millcreekut.gov/161/Elections) includes:
- Declaration of Candidacy Form
- Resume (not to exceed 2 pages)
- Letter of Intent Describing Why You Want to Be on the City Council (not to exceed 1 page)
- Completed Questionnaire
- Conflict of Interest Form
- $50 Filing Fee
All applications must be received in person by the Recorder's Office between November 7, 2025, and November 14, 2025, during regular business hours (8am-5pm) at Millcreek City Hall, 1330 E Chambers Avenue, Millcreek, UT 84106.
The Millcreek City Council will interview candidates and select the appointee during a public meeting to be held Monday, November 24, 2025, at 5:00p.m. at Millcreek City Hall, 1330 E Chambers Avenue, Millcreek, UT 84106.

Notice of Electronic or Telephone Participation
The Council may convene in an electronic meeting.
