NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE The WEBER FIRE DISTRICT is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. The WEBER FIRE DISTRICT tax on a $676,000 residence would increase from $402.66 to $497.61, which is $94.95 per year. The WEBER FIRE DISTRICT tax on a $676,000 business would increase from $732.11 to $904.74, which is $172.63 per year. If the proposed budget is approved, WEBER FIRE DISTRICT would receive an additional $2,956,000 in property tax revenue per year as a result of the tax increase. If the proposed budget is approved, WEBER FIRE DISTRICT would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 23.58% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. The WEBER FIRE DISTRICT invites all concerned citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed tax increase and to explain the reasons for the proposed tax increase.
