NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE:
ADJUSTMENT OF A COMMON BOUNDARY BETWEEN
CENTRAL WEBER SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT AND NORTH DAVIS SEWER DISTRICT
North Davis Sewer District ('North Davis') hereby gives notice of a public hearing on a proposed boundary adjustment, to be held at the date and time listed below, pursuant to the requirements of Utah Code Ann. § 17B-1-417. North Davis and the Central Weber Sewer Improvement District ('Central Weber') have declared intention to adjust the common boundary between the two districts. Both Central Weber and North Davis provide wastewater treatment services to Roy City, Utah. The common boundary defines which areas are served by each District. Wastewater from the area described below was previously conveyed to Central Weber for treatment. Roy City has modified the sewer collection system to convey this wastewater to North Davis. North Davis desires to adjust the common boundary to include this area in the North Davis service area.
That portion of the property tax previously assigned to Central Weber will now be assessed by North Davis. The impact on sewer customers within the affected area will be that those customers will now pay the property tax levy and fees imposed by North Davis, whereas those customers are currently paying property tax and fees as imposed by Central Weber.
The North Davis Board of Trustees may approve the boundary adjustment unless written protests are filed with the board as described in Utah Code Ann. § 17B-1-417 by (i) the owners of at least 50% of the private property in the affected that represent at least 50% of the private property value in the affected area or (ii) by registered voters within the affected area equal in number to at least 50% of the votes cast in the affected area for the office of governor at the last regular general election before the filing of the protests.
All interested persons are invited to attend a public hearing regarding this boundary adjustment to be held at 6:00 p.m., November 13, 2025 at North Davis Sewer District located at 4252 West 2200 South, Syracuse, UT 84075.
