Invitation to bid:
The City of South Salt Lake will accept bids for the project titled: Storm Water Pump Stations Upgrades - Blair St. & Jordan River, until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 8. 2025. Bids must be submitted through the Utah Public Procurement Place website (Bonfire). The scope of work for this contract generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: Blair Street: Retrofitting existing storm water pump station, including removal of existing pumps and appurtenances, installation of new pumps, installation of control gates, pouring a concrete floor and pump pedestal in an existing vault, replacement and installation of electrical wiring and controls, and related work. Jordan River: Retrofitting existing storm water pump station, including removal of existing pumps and appurtenances, installation of new pumps, installation of new pump rails and discharge elbows, installation of control gates, installing a new hatch, replacement and installation of electrical wiring and controls, and related work.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for this project at 2:00 PM., on Monday September 22, 2025, in the City Council Chambers located on the second floor in the South Salt Lake City Hall at 220 East Morris Avenue, South Salt Lake City, Utah.
Bids must be received on Bonfire (U3P) by 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Bids received after 2:00 PM will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 2:30 PM and read by OWNER at the City Council Chambers located on the second floor in the South Salt Lake City Hall at 220 East Morris Ave., South Salt Lake, UT. Bids will be tabulated and the winning bidder will be notified by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
