- Enforcement Council Labor Commission, 160 East 300 South, Salt Lake City March 25, 2025 - 9:30 a.m. Council Members Present: Chris Hill, Chair Deputy Commissioner, Labor Commission Todd Jenson Assistant Attorney General Allyson Pettley Bureau Manager, Department Professional Licensing, Utah Department of Commerce Roman Rubalcava Unemployment Insurance Division, Deputy Director, Department of Workforce Services Council Members Excused: Justin Williams Unemployment Insurance Division Director, Department of Workforce Services Angie Hillas Director, Income Tax and Education Division, Utah State Tax Commission Mike Miller Unemployment Insurance Division, Department of Workforce Services Visitors: A list of visitors is provided at the end of the Minutes. Topic Discussion Action Welcome and Approval of Minutes Chair Hill called the meeting to order at 9:31 a.m. and welcomed everyone. Chair Hill moved to approve the minutes from December 2024 meeting. Allyson Pettley seconded the motion to approve. All were in favor. Chair Hill proceeded with the agenda. Business Legislative updates Misclassification Issues Presentation Next Meeting Public Comment Closed Meeting Opened Meeting None None Chair Hill emailed the Utah Labor Commission Spreadsheet to the council prior to the meeting. Verolinda Granados explained the updated formatting of the spreadsheet to keep the spreadsheet more organized for the committee. Chair Hill offered June 10, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. for the next meeting. Future meeting schedule proposal: June 10, 2025 September 9, 2025 December 2, 2025 None Chair Hill motioned to close the open meeting. Allyson Pettley seconded the motion. All in favor. The meeting adjoined at 9:36 a.m. Chair Hill motioned to adjourn. Allyson Pettley seconded the motion. All were in favor.
