8. Special Consideration
8.1 Ticaboo Utility Improvement District Loan B1406 - Principal Balance: $433,867.06
Request to decommission one (damaged) generator purchased in 2013 with CIB loan funding to then add a solar PPA to its electrical generation mix.
On July 11, 2013, the Permanent Community Impact Fund Board authorized a $600,000 loan for 30 years @ 1.5% to Ticaboo Utility Improvement District for the acquisition and installation of power system components, including new power generation equipment, a closed automatic transmission switch, an 80 kvAR reactor, and monitoring equipment.
8.2 Monroe - $735,000 Grant
Emergency Water Project - New Well
Due to the Monroe Canyon fire, Monroe's main spring has drastically reduced production. This project will address the water insecurity Monroe City faces due to the fire.
