Ordinance Adoption
Notice is hereby given that, during the Regular City Council Meeting held September 2, 2025, the Heber City Council adopted Ordinances 2025-08, 2025-20, and 2025-23. Ordinance 2025-08 repealed the Residential Commercial Overlay Zone and the Neighborhood Inlay Zone and replaced them with the Central Heber Overlay Zone (CHOZ) in the Heber City Zoning Code. Voting Yes: Council Members Cheatwood, Johnston, Ostergaard, and Phillips. Voting No: Council Member Barney. The motion passed 4-1. Ordinance 2025-20 amended the City Code with regard to street parking regulations for large trucks and commercial vehicles in residential zones. Voting Yes: Council Members Barney, Cheatwood, Johnston, Ostergaard, and Phillips. Voting No: none. The motion passed 5-0. Ordinance 2025-23 modified the permitted height of fencing associated with sports courts in the City Code. Voting Yes: Council Members Barney, Cheatwood, Johnston, Ostergaard, and Phillips. Voting No: none. The motion passed 5-0.
