PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that during the regular Town Council meeting of August 27, 2025, the Rush Valley Town Council adopted Ordinance Number 2025-02:
AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE TOWN'S INTEREST IN A ROAD DESCRIBED AS CHARLES HILL STREET LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF RUSH VALLEY
BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF RUSH VALLEY, UTAH AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE - PURPOSE: This ordinance is for the purpose of vacating the Town's interest, if any, in a road designated within the Town of Rush Valley, Utah. This ordinance is adopted pursuant to a petition of the property owner. The Rush Valley Town Council, after conducting a public hearing, finds there is good cause to vacate the road as described and neither the public interest nor any person will be materially injured by the vacation of the road.
SECTION TWO - VACATION OF THE ROAD: The road known as Charles Hill Street located in the Town of Rush Valley, Tooele County, State of Utah and is more particularly described and identified in the attached map, which is made a part hereof by reference, is hereby vacated as a public street, road or right of way of the Town of Rush Valley, Utah pursuant to the provisions of Utah Code Annotated 10-9a-609.5.
SECTION THREE - EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall take effect upon the recording of a copy of this ordinance in the Office of the Tooele County Recorder and upon publishing of this ordinance pursuant to the requirements of Utah Code Annotated 63G-30-102(1).
