NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE
STOCKTON TOWN
The STOCKTON TOWN is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.
The STOCKTON TOWN tax on a $373,000 residence would increase from $521.90 to $577.70, which is $55.80 per year.
The STOCKTON TOWN tax on a $373,000 Business would increase from $948.91 to $1,050.37, which is $101.46 per year.
If the proposed budget is approved, STOCKTON TOWN would receive an additional $15,027 in Property tax revenue per year as a result of the tax increase. If the proposed budget is approved, STOCKTON TOWN would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 3.38% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.
The STOCKTON TOWN invites all concerned citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed tax increase. You have the option to attend or participate in the public hearing in person or online.

Notice is given that the Stockton Town Council will hold a regular meeting as identified below in the Town Council Chambers at the Stockton Town Hall 18 N. Johnson Street, Stockton, Utah. In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, any individual who may need special accommodations including auxiliary communicative and services during this meeting shall notify the Town Clerk at (435) 882-3877 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
