The County Council previously declared the parcel located 38 S. Main St. in Tooele City as surplus and received an offer for the purchase of the property from Friends of Switchpoint, Inc. for
$1,500,000. A public hearing regarding the sale will be held at this meeting.

D. Ordinance 2025-07 - Amending the Tooele County Code Regarding Duties of Elected Officials and the Manager, Scott Broadhead
This ordinance amends Tooele County Code Section 1-1-3, Definitions, of Chapter 1, General Provisions, and Sections 1-2-8, Powers and Duties of the Council, 1-2-9, County Manager, and 1-2-11, Elected Officials, of Chapter 2, Council-Manager Form of Government. These changes will be more in line with applicable sections of the State Code that outline the duties of each elected official and the duties of the manager.
