Rockville Town Council Public Hearing & Regular Meeting Rockville Town Hall June 11, 2025 - 6:00 pm The Rockville Town Council will hold a Public Hearing along with their Regular Meeting on Wednesday the 11th of June, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the Rockville Community Center Town Hall, 43 E. Main, Rockville, Utah. The agenda will be as follows: 1. Call to Order-Roll Call 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Approval of the Agenda 4. Declaration of conflict of interest with an agenda item. Public Comment: The Public Comment period provides an opportunity to address the Mayor and Town Council regarding concerns or ideas about the Town which the Council may choose to address at a later date. Members of the public will be given a limit of two (2) minutes per person. The Council will not respond to comments or questions but will take the comments into consideration for possible discussion at another time. Rules for making comments: 1. You must be a resident or property owner of the Town of Rockville. 2. PUBLIC COMMENT SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED ON ANY AGENDA ITEM OR PENDING LAND USE APPLICATION. 3. Speakers shall be courteous and show respect. Comments shall not include obscene or profane language, nor contain attacks on any individual. Such actions will be grounds for removal from meeting upon request by a Town Council member. Written comments may be submitted anytime to the Town Clerk at PO Box 630206, Rockville, UT 84763 or rockville@rockvilleutah.org. Written comments will be published on the Town's website the Friday prior to the Town Council meeting. Discussion/Information/Non-action Items. 1. Discussion to Consider a Request for a Special Assessment Area for Improvements on South Mesa-Julia Mary 5. Open Public Hearing to Consider Public Comments on the Final Budget for the Town of Rockville for the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 6. Adjourn Public Hearing 7. Discussion and Action on Ordinance No. #25-0611-01, to Adopt the Final Budget for the Town of Rockville for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. 8. Discussion and Action Adopting Ordinance #25-0611-_____ to Prohibit Open Fires and the Use of Fireworks within the Town of Rockville During the Remainder of 2025 Unless Allowed by a Burn Permit from the Hurricane Valley Fire District 9. Consider and Possible Adoption of an Ordinance #25-0611-___ on a Recommendation from the Planning Commission to Create a New Chapter 13 in the Town of Rockville Land Use Code to Establish a Septic Tank Density Limits and Environmental Sustainability for Zoning Decisions 10. Discussion and Action on Resolution No. 25-0611-01, A Resolution to Approve the 2025 Certified Tax Rate for the Town of Rockville 11. Approval of the minutes for the May 14, 2025, Public Hearing and Regular Meeting. 12. Approval of expenditures for the month of May 2025. 13. Approval of the May 2025 Financial Statements.
