JOINT NOTICE OF PROPOSED BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT
AND PUBLIC HEARING

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all interested persons that the Board of Trustees of the Central Davis Sewer District ('Central Davis') and the Board of Trustees of the South Davis Sewer District ('South Davis') have adopted a joint resolution indicating the intent to adjust certain portions of the common boundary between South Davis and Central Davis by withdrawing certain territories from Central Davis and annexing said territories into South Davis (collectively, the 'Affected Areas'). The Affected Areas are located in Centerville City, Davis County, State of Utah, and are more particularly described in Exhibit 'A,' attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.

If the adjustment is made as proposed, the owners of property within the territories annexed into South Davis will be subject to the payment of fees, charges and property taxes levied by South Davis for sewer services and/or to pay any bonds or other obligations of South Davis, which are subject to change over time, but will no longer pay fees, charges or property taxes to Central Davis.  

The Central Davis Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing regarding this boundary adjustment on April 8, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. The public hearing will be held at the office of the Central Davis Sewer District, located at 2200 Sunset Drive, Kaysville, Utah 84037.  

The South Davis Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing regarding this boundary adjustment on April 15, 2021, at 6:00 p.m.  The public hearing will be held at the office of the South Davis Sewer District, located at 1800 West 1200 North, West Bountiful, Utah 84087.  

Central Davis and South Davis may adjust certain portions of their common boundary as described herein unless, at or before the public hearings, written protests to the boundary adjustment are filed with either or both the Central Davis Board of Trustees or the South Davis Board of Trustees by: (A) the owners of private real property that: (1) is located within the Affected Areas; (2) covers at least 50% of the total private land area within the Affected Areas; and (3) is equal in assessed value to at least 50% of the assessed value of all private real property within the Affected Areas; or (B) registered voters residing within the Affected Areas equal in number to at least 50% of the votes cast in the Affected Areas for the office of Governor at the last regular general election before the filing of the protests.
