Public Notice is hereby given that the Vineyard Town Council will hold a regular meeting on December 10, 2008, starting at 7:00 PM, in the Vineyard Town Hall; 240 East Gammon Road, Vineyard, Utah. The agenda will consist of the following:

5. BUSINESS ITEMS:
5.1 Discussion and Action: EASTLAKE AT GENEVA INDUSTRIAL BUSINESS PARK PHASE 5 PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION APPLICATION – The Town Council will discuss and possibly approve a Planning Commission recommendation regarding a proposed Preliminary Subdivision Application for 20 industrial lots on 93.31 acres in the Eastlake at Geneva Industrial Business Park Phase 5 located in the I-1 (Industrial) Zone located at approximately 600 East 1400 North (Anderson Geneva Development, Inc., Applicant).
Recommendation: Planning Commission recommended approval of the preliminary subdivision application subject to eight stipulations.
5.2 Discussion and Action: LINDON/VINEYARD INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT - The Town Council will discuss and possibly approve the proposed updated Lindon/Vineyard Interlocal Cooperative Agreement and Development Agreement.
Background: The Development Agreement is between Vineyard Town, Lindon City, and Anderson Geneva. The Interlocal Cooperative Agreement is between Vineyard Town and Lindon City. Both agreements pertain to culinary water service supplied to Vineyard Town by Lindon City.
5.3 Discussion and Action: FITNESS CENTER AND LIBRARY CARD REIMBURSEMENT – The town council will discuss and possibly approve a reimbursement given to residents for part of the cost of an Orem Fitness Center Membership or an Orem Library Card.
5.4 Continued Discussion and Action: RELOCATION OF TOWN MONUMENTS ? The town council will discuss and possibly approve new locations for the “J Rulon Gammon - Vineyard Town Heritage Park” monument located on the north end of Holdaway Road and the “Welcome to Vineyard” monument located on the corner of 400 South and Geneva Road.
Background: UDOT is scheduled to begin construction on Geneva Road in the spring of 2009. Due to this construction, the “Welcome to Vineyard” monument will need to be relocated. The “J Rulon Gammon - Vineyard Town Heritage Park” monument was placed temporarily in its current location due to planned construction on Gammon Road (Center Street). With finished construction around the location of the park, the town council has been asked to determine the permanent location of the monument.
5.5 Discussion: STATE POLICIES REGARDING OPERATING 4-WHEELERS ON PUBLIC STREETS ? The town council will discuss the state policy regarding the operation of 4-wheelers and other all-terrain vehicles and possibly direct the town attorney to proceed to create a separate town ordinance.

The Town Council may vote to go into executive session pursuant to Utah Code 52-4-5. |
