I John Morgan, Housing Advisory and Appeals Board Chair, hereby determine that conducting the Housing Advisory and Appeals Board meeting at the anchor location presents a substantial risk to the health and safety of those who may be present at the anchor location. The World Health Organization, the President of the United States, the Governor of Utah, the Salt Lake County Health Department, Salt Lake County Mayor, and the Mayor of Salt Lake City have all recognized a global pandemic exists related to the new strain of the coronavirus, SARS- CoV-2.
Due to the state of emergency caused by the global pandemic, I find that conducting a meeting at an anchor location under the current state of public health emergency constitutes a substantial risk to the health and safety of those who may be present at the location. Moreover, the City & County Building, which is the anchor location for Housing Advisory and Appeals Board meetings, is presently closed for regular occupation due to damages sustained during the March 2020 earthquakes.

Wednesday September 9, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
Board members will join the Webex meeting hosted by Civil Enforcement staff. Contact Craig Weinheimer at 801-386-0542 with any problems or concerns connecting to the meeting. In lieu of physical site visits to properties, civil enforcement staff will provide a video and/or photo slideshow of the following properties during the meeting at the appropriate time.
