AMENDED AGENDA – MARCH 7, 2011 1:00 pm

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of Springville will hold a public meeting in the Council Chambers of the Springville City Civic Center (110 South Main) on Tuesday, March 8, 2011.   The Commissioners will meet for a briefing of the agenda items at 6:30 PM and the meeting will commence at 7:00 PM.  This will be a public meeting where testimony will be heard and action will be taken on the agenda items.  


The agenda for the Commission meeting will be as follows:

 
1.	Call to order:
Approval of Agenda
Approval of Minutes:   February 8, 2011 and February 22, 2011
2.	* Consideration of the Consent Agenda
a.	Doug Fowkes, representing Sam Dexy Properties, seeking site plan approval for Infomercials, Inc. to be located at 2115 West 1150 North in the HC – Highway Commercial zone.
3.	Legislative Session
	a.	Springville City seeking approval of an amendment to Section 11-6-115(4)(c) allowing temporary use fast food huts up to 100 square feet in size.
		i.	Public Hearing
		ii.	Consideration
	b.	Springville City seeking approval to amend the Springville City Municipal Code for the creation of a Mixed Use Overlay Zone to be located at approximately 400 South 2600 West.

	c.	Mike Stewart seeking approval to amend the General Plan Map at approximately 400 South 2600 West from Commercial to Mixed Use.

Copy of agenda delivered to the Mayor, City Council members, Planning Commission members, City Attorney and mailed/faxed to adjacent cities, Utah County and Nebo School District.  Agenda posted on the State of Utah Public Notice website; the Springville City website and bulletin boards in the City Civic Center and Public Library on March 4, 2011. 

*The Consent Agenda includes items that are administrative actions where no additional discussion is needed. When approved, the recommendations in the staff reports become the action of the Commission.  The Consent Agenda provides an opportunity for public comment.  If after the public comment the Commission removes an item from the Consent Agenda for discussion, the item will keep its agenda number and will be added to the Administrative Session for discussion, unless placed otherwise by the Commission.
