Description/Agenda: | NOTICE OF SALT LAKE CITY BOARD OF EDUCATION BUDGET HEARING IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE LAW, notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Salt Lake City will be holding a public budget hearing on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. The hearing will be held electronically and will be live streamed at http://facebook.com/slcschools. The physical anchor location for the hearing will be the Board Room of the Administration Building of the Board of Education of Salt Lake City, 440 East 100 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. The hearing will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. on the following matters: 1. The intent of the Board of Education to revise the budget of the Salt Lake City School District for the 2019-20 fiscal year. 2. The adoption of the budget for the operation of the public schools of Salt Lake City for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. Copies of the revisions proposed in the budget for the fiscal year 2019-2020 and the tentative budget for the fiscal year 2020-21 are available at: https://www.slcschools.org/board-of-education/district-annual-budget/documents/2020-21-annual-budget/english/ If you cannot access the materials electronically and would like a copy emailed, faxed, or mailed to you, please contact Janet Roberts by email at janet.roberts@slcschools.org or telephonically at 801.578.8334. A hard copy of the documents will be available for review at the anchor location beginning at 4:45 p.m. on June 2, 2020. Questions about the documents should also be directed to Ms. Roberts by the methods listed above. If you would like to speak at the hearing, please provide your contact information to Lisa Alleman at lisa.alleman@slcschools.org or 801.578.8351, prior to 1:00 p.m. on June 2, 2020. You will be contacted to remotely join the meeting at the time designated for public comment. In accordance with the Governor's controlling Executive Order and Department of Health regulations, a limited number of individuals will be allowed at the anchor location however electronic participation is preferred.
