KOOSHAREM TOWN
COUNCIL VACANCY

Public Notice of City Council Vacancy and intent to fill a Koosharem Town Mayor Vacancy.  Notice pursuant to Utah Code  20A-1-510(b), this notice is posted until July 17th, 2019 at the Koosharem Town office, Koosharem Post Office and Utah Public Access website inviting all interested and qualified parties to apply for this vacancy.  The Town Council will meet on Wednesday July 17th, 2019 at 6:30 p.m., at the Koosharem Town Office, in the Town Council Room located at 45 North Main Street, Koosharem, Utah, to fill the term expiring December 31, 2021.  The vacancy will be filled by an applicant or other qualified Koosharem Town resident. 
Individuals interested in submitting their names for consideration must be registered voters and have resided in Koosharem Town for the past twelve (12) consecutive  months.
 To qualify for this vacancy you  must file a declaration of candidacy which can be obtained from the Town Clerk, during normal business hours at the Town Office. Candidates must meet the qualifications of Section 10-3-301 of Utah Code.

Please submit a letter of interest to the Koosharem Town Clerk at 45 North Main Street, Koosharem, UT 84744, no later than July 16th, 2019.   Letters of interest shall include the applicant's name, address, telephone number, and why you wish to be considered for the position. Brief presentations from the applicants will be given during Town Council Meeting on July  17th, 2019.
