ONE (1) PENDING VACANCY ON THE
MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT OF
SALT LAKE CITY
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
UTAH CODE ANNOTATED 17B-1-304.
The Salt Lake City Council announces one (1) pending vacancy on the board. Persons interested in applying for consideration must be a resident of Salt Lake City, a registered voter and a property taxpayer. The term of office for appointed trustees is four years. All employees and all elected and appointed officials of Salt Lake City and the Mosquito Abatement District are ineligible. The appointment of trustees shall be made without regard to partisan political affiliations and shall be made from citizens of the highest integrity, attainment, competence and standing in the community of Salt Lake City. Qualified applicants can obtain application forms by calling the Council Office at (801)535-7600. Completed applications should be submitted with a letter of interest and vita/resume indicating compliance with above criteria to: Lehua Weaver, Council Associate Deputy Director, Salt Lake City Council Office, 451 South State Street, Room 304, PO Box 145476, Salt Lake City, Utah 84114-5476, no later than June 10, 2019. A subcommittee of the City Council will consider the applications prior to forwarding a recommendation to the full Council. (I 19-13)
