PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners of the County of Iron, State of Utah, will hold a Public Meeting in the Iron County Commission Chambers, at the Iron County Courthouse, 68 South 100 East, Parowan Utah on Monday, the 8th Day of October, 2018 at the hour of 9:00 o'clock, a.m.

9:00 A.M. OPENING, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, APPROVE MINUTES, APPROVE WARRANTS, DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS, (Building/Zoning/Planning, Engineer, Road, Landfill, Assessor, Auditor), ETC.
10:00 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING
1. HEARING & POSSIBLE APPROVAL FOR A PROPOSED ZONE CHANGE - AGRICULTURE 20 (A-20) TO INDUSTRIAL (I). 7.23 ACRES LOCATED BETWEEN OLD HWY 91 AND I-15 AT APPROXIMATELY 3603 W OLD HWY 91, CEDAR CITY, UT (S1/2 NW1/4 SEC 32, T36S, R11W, SLBM). 5. POSSIBLE APPROVAL TO SELL PARCEL APN: B-1180, #82534.
6. DISCUSSION, REVIEW AND POSSIBLE RENEWAL OR UPDATE TO 'IRON COUNTY POLICY FOR SELLING REAL PROPERTY,' DATED OCTOBER 22, 1987.
7. ORDINANCE 2018-3, GRANTING AN ELECTRIC UTILITY FRANCHISE AND GENERAL UTILITY EASEMENT TO ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER.
8. REVIEW AND CONSIDERATION FOR APPROVAL OF A PROPERTY MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR A 291 ACRE PARCEL ACQUIRED FOR A UTAH PRAIRIE DOG CONSERVATION EASEMENT. Presented by Reed Erickson, Iron County Planner.
9. APPROVAL TO ATTACH UNPAID BUSINESS PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES TO REAL PROPERTY TAXES. Requested by Cindy Bulloch, Iron County Assessor.

14. DISCUSS AND REVIEW FOR APPROVAL, APPLICATIONS FOR LOW INCOME, HOMEOWNERS TAX CREDITS, BLIND AND VETERANS ABATEMENTS FOR THE 2017 TAX YEAR THRU OCTOBER 4, 2018. Presented by Christene Lowder, Iron County Chief Deputy Clerk.
15. REQUEST, REVIEW, AND APPROVAL OF HEARING OFFICERS RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE APPEALS FILED WITH THE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION.
RECONVENE AS THE IRON COUNTY COMMISSION
16. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE APPROVAL TO MODIFY AN EXISTING CONTRACT TO LANDSCAPE THE GROUNDS AROUND THE COURTHOUSE TO ALSO INCLUDE AN IDENTIFYING SIGN.
17. UTAH'S PATCHWORK PARKWAY ANNUAL REPORT, GOALS, AND 2019 PROJECTS. Presented by Chairman, Dutch Deutschlander & Byway Coordinator, Nancy Dalton.

1. Approval of new hire Taylor Dunn as Correction Deputy. Effective date 9/24/2018, backfill of vacant position.
