UTA's Mt. Ogden Business Unit, which covers Davis, Weber and Box Elder counties, will be making bus service adjustments as a part of the agency's regularly scheduled change day Sunday, Dec. 12. The route changes will improve efficiencies, while maintaining the area's full complement of transit services.

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with project team members and learn about the purpose and need of the recommended course of action.

The changes in service will occur on underutilized routes and represent a small percentage of the area's overall ridership, affecting less than one percent of all trips taken.

Changes include the elimination of all Mt. Ogden Saturday bus service before 8:30 a.m. and after 9:00 p.m.

In addition to implementing efficiencies, the changes are a part of a series of budget cuts necessary to meet 2011 budget projections.
