PUBLIC HEARING - LEARN AND PLAY PRE-K, IN-HOME PRESCHOOL (Administrative)
Kelina Heath has applied for a Conditional Use Permit for an in-home preschool at 829 East 600 North in a residential (RE-20) zone. The preschool would be held in the basement of the home on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:15-11:15 A.M.
CONSIDER KELINA HEATH'S IN HOME PRESCHOOL (Administrative)
Consider approving a Conditional Use Permit application submitted by Kelina Heath for an in-home preschool at 829 East 600 North in a residential (RE-20) zone. See 12.80 Conditional Uses
CONSIDER AMENDING THE LOT WIDTH REQUIREMENT (Legislative)
Consider changing where the lot width is measured from 'along the street line' to 'at the building setback line'. Or, at least change it for properties on curved roads. See 12.20 AP. Frontage and 13.60.010 Minimum Improvement Requirements, section A. Lots (2nd paragraph re: cul-de-sacs)
CONSIDER JUNIPER ACRES SUBDIVISION FINAL PLAT (Administrative)
Consider approving the Juniper Acres Subdivision Final Plat consisting of 10 lots on 4.96 acres at approximately 1000 East 200 South in a residential (RE-20) zone. See 13.30.060 Final Plat and LUA Minutes from January 31, 2018.
DISCUSS ALLOWABLE USES IN THE COMMERCIAL ZONE (Information only)
Hear a representative from Colmena Group present an idea of a possible development in the commercial zone including a flex building, part warehouse, possibly including retail. Is this an allowable use in this zone? See 12.170 Planned Commercial Zone
CONSIDER AMENDING THE MASTER ROAD PLAN (Legislative)
Consider adding 200 South as a 'limited access' road in the Master Road Plan. See 12.30.040 Additional Yard Regulations, section I. (Note: 600 South is already designated as such.)
CONSIDER CHANGES TO 12.30 REGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL ZONES (Legislative)
Consider amending 12.30.020 and 12.30.050 for better understanding and applicability. Review latest draft.
CONSIDER NOT ALLOWING PIGS IN HYDE PARK (Legislative)
Consider changing the animal ordinance 7.10.070 to specifically not allow pigs in Hyde Park. Nolan Krebs, North Park Animal Control Officer has received multiple complaints about the foul odor, inherent with pigs. See 7.10.070 section F.
CONSIDER CHANGES TO KENNEL PERMIT REQUIREMENTS (Legislative)
Consider eliminating the Conditional Use from kennel permits, extending the kennel permit period to three years (instead of one), addressing cats and various other changes. See 7.30.020 Permits
