Description/Agenda: | NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE VINEYARD TOWN COUNCIL October 13, 2010, 7:00 p.m. _______________ Public Notice is hereby given that the Vineyard Town Council will hold a regular meeting on October 13, 2010, starting at 7:00, in the Vineyard Town Hall; 240 East Gammon Road, Vineyard, Utah. The agenda will consist of the following: AGENDA 7:00 PM REGULAR SESSION 1. CALL TO ORDER/PRAYER 2. MINUTES REVIEW AND APPROVAL 3. PLANNING COMMISSION UPDATE AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE COUNCIL: Planning Commission Liaison Norman Holdaway 4. STAFF REPORT • Planner – Jim Carter ? Economic Development Corporation • Engineer – JUB Engineers • Water Operator Technician – Sullivan Love • Attorney – David Church • Utah County Sheriff Department 5. BUSINESS ITEMS: 5.1 Discussion and Action: LINDON HOLLOW CREEK INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT – The Vineyard Town Council will discuss and possibly act to authorize the mayor to sign an interlocal agreement between Vineyard, Lindon, Pleasant Grove and Orem governing the maintenance, repair, and improvement of the Lindon Hollow Creek Drainage Area. Background: Lindon Hollow Creek is an historic creek, irrigation canal, and drainage area located in Vineyard and Lindon that runs from Geneva Road (at approximately 1750 North in Orem) to Utah Lake. Orem, Lindon, and Pleasant Grove each route a portion of their respective storm water discharge through Lindon Hollow Creek. Although Vineyard currently contributes only a nominal amount of storm water to Lindon Hollow Creek, Vineyard is included in the interlocal agreement because a large portion of Lindon Hollow Creek is located in Vineyard and because Vineyard may increase its storm water discharge to Lindon Hollow Creek in the future. 5.2 Discussion and Action: EASTLAKE AT GENEVA INDUSTRIAL BUSINESS PARK PHASE 2 PLAT AMENDMENT APPLICATION – The Vineyard Town Council will discuss and may possibly act to approve the final plat amendment for Eastlake at Geneva Industrial Business Park Phase 2 Amendment 2 to be known as Eastlake at Geneva Industrial Business Park Phase 5 located at approximately the northeast corner of 250 East and 1600 North (Anderson Geneva, Applicants). 5.3 Continued Discussion and Action: REQUEST TO REDUCE IMPACT FEES FOR LOT 325 IN THE LAKES AT SLEEPY RIDGE – The Vineyard Town Council will continue to discuss and possibly act to approve an adjustment in impact fees for Lot 325 in The Lakes at Sleepy Ridge located at 564 South 500 East (Lonnie Hatch, Applicant). 6. OPEN SESSION: Citizen’s Comments (Please see note below) 7. Christmas Dinner ? Agreement with Gail Roper 9. ITEMS REQUESTED FOR NEXT AGENDA 10. ADJOURNMENT NOTE: “Open Session” is defined as time set aside for citizens to express their views. Each speaker is limited to three minutes. Because of the need for proper public notice, immediate action will not be taken in the Council Meeting. If action is necessary, the item will be listed on a following agenda, however, the Council may elect to discuss the item if it is an immediate matter of concern. The Town Council may vote to go into executive session pursuant to Utah Code 52-4-5. The Public is invited to participate in all Town Council meetings.
