Description/Agenda: | THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE GRANGER-HUNTER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given by the Board of Trustees that Granger-Hunter Improvement District will hold their scheduled Board Meeting at its office at 2888 South 3600 West West Valley City, Utah, beginning at 2:30 P.M. August 15, 2017. At 7:45 A.M. a Management/Trustee Workshop will begin with topics regarding Board Member Best Practices, Strategic Plan update, Tiered Water Rate Structure, Capital Projects, AMI Update and Policy Review. The workshop will conclude at 2:15 P.M., followed by the scheduled Board Meeting at 2:30 P.M. The Board may convene and conduct any meeting in which one or more Trustees participate electronically. A. GENERAL 1. Call to order - Welcome - Report those present for the record 2. Invocation 3. Public Comments 4. Consider approval of the June 20, 2017 Board Meeting Minutes 5. Discuss potential conflicts of interest B. ENGINEERING REPORT 1. Consider an award of a contract amendment to Bowen Collins & Associates in the amount of $69,882.00 to provide additional services during construction which include special inspections for concrete and masonry, redesign to comply with West Valley City review requirements, RTU back panel installation and RTU/PLC, HMI and SCADA programming and related efforts. 2. Consider an award of a construction contract to Rolfe Excavating & Construction, Inc. in the amount of $496,826.80 for construction of the 17J: 4800 West Waterline Replacement Project. C.
