CITIZEN COMMENTS Citizens are permitted to address the Council concerning any matter over which the Council has jurisdiction, including comments concerning an item on the agenda. The Council will allow 3 minutes to do so during this period. Written comments may be submitted if a citizen does not wish to speak. Any comments needing or requesting follow-up will be assigned to staff for further action as appropriate after the meeting. Please provide contact information on the sign-up sheet and state your name and phone number when speaking to the Council so later follow-up can take place. Persons who exceed the time or are otherwise disorderly may be expelled by the Council upon a two-thirds majority vote, as provided in Utah Code Annotated 10-3-608. The Council requires that citizens help maintain the decorum of the meeting by not applauding or booing, turning off electronic devices, not engaging in verbal attacks against others or being disrespectful during the proceedings of the meeting. 6. Approve Resolution 12-124, authorizing the Mayor to execute the Betterment Agreement between the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and West Jordan City for installation of a Powder Coat Pedestrian Activated Signal on SR-68 at 8400 South, in an amount not-to-exceed $1,709.00 [Wendell Rigby] d. Approve Resolution 12-125, authorizing the Mayor to execute the Betterment Agreement between the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and West Jordan City for landscaping services for Bangerter Highway at 7800, 7000, 6200 South, in an amount not-to-exceed $82,008.71 [Wendell Rigby] e. Approve Resolution 12-126, authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement with Project Engineering Consultants for engineering services for the Traffic, Noise, and Vibration Study Related to Truck Traffic on 9000 S and OBH, in an amount not-to-exceed $19,270.00 [Wendell Rigby] f. Approve Resolution 12-127, declaring miscellaneous items from the Fire Department and Public Works Department as surplus property, and authorize the disposal [Marc McElreath/Wendell Rigby] g. Approve Resolution 12-128, declaring firearms and Police service Dog (PSD) ‘Kuffs’ as surplus property, and authorize the disposition, and authorize Officer Tom Smith, Kuffs handler, to purchase the PSD from the City for $1.00 [Doug Diamond] h.
