- The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting February 13th, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Utah. Welcome --Mayor 1. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation Pledge of Allegiance Opening Prayer Constitutional Reading- Jeff McDonald 2. Roll Call - Recorder 3. Approval of Minutes- Mayor January 23, 2024, Regular City Council Meeting held at 6:30 p.m. 4. Approval of Claims and Requisitions - Mayor Claims Register Dated 01/20/2024 to 02/08/2024 in the amount of $565,189.42. Requisitions: Requisitions As needed. 5. Approval of Transaction Register: Dated 01/01/2024 to 01/31/2024 in the amount of $1587.66. 6. Resolution 2024-2 A Resolution Regarding Payment in Lieu of Health Insurance for Full Time Benefited Employees. 7. Discussion/Action on the following items: a. Out of State Travel Approval -Power Superintendent Shane Ward b. Follow Up Quote from January 9th Meeting - Public Works Director Colter Allen Rasmussen Excavation and Hales in the amount of $32,500.00 for 10 tons vs. Compressor Bid from Wheeler Cat. c. Request to Own Insignificant Parcel of Land- Brian Beck d. Rap Tax Recommendation Approval- Stephanie Blain 8. Open and Public Meetings Act Training: Kevin Daniels 9. Public Participation Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda.
