- Wasatch County Weed Board January 17, 2024 @ 1:00PM County Administration Building 25 North Main Street, Heber City Agenda I. Welcome: Laurie Backus II. Approval of minutes from November: Amanda Simpson III. Weed Grant Updates: Quintin Lewis Title II $13,407 Forest Contract Weed Supervisor - Leafy Spurge and other invasives $9,800 IV. Updates on CWMA: Quintin Lewis Reminder about the Weed Supervisors Conference. The Utah Weed Control Association annual conference. It is being held in Provo this year on February 21st and 22nd of 2024. The tentative agenda, the conference center and hotel information are on the www.utahweed.org V. Year in Review and 2023 Accomplishments: Quintin Lewis - Need to do similar to 2022 publication on social media. Draft, approve, and send to County to post on Facebook. - Do we want to do social media post series again for 2024? VI. Any Follow Ups From Last Meeting: All VII. Committee Concerns/Updates/Issues: All Next Meeting: February meeting cancelled due to Weed Supervisors Conference. Laurie has a conflict on March 13th. Could do the 6th or 20th. Also have a conflict for April and May dates.
