- ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID LAYTON CITY CORPORATION will accept separate sealed bids for the '2023-2024 STREET MAINTENANCE, PROJECT 23-50'. The project includes the installation of asphalt overlay material; roto-milling; soft spot repair; roadbase and subgrade excavation; pavement markings; adjustment of manholes, boxes, and valve covers; raising to grade existing covers that are covered with asphalt and associated items. The bids will ONLY be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service through www.questcdn.com until 10:30 a.m. local time on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at which time all bids will be virtually opened using VirtuBid. The bidder will also be required to submit proof of a 5% bid bond to www.questcdn.com to successfully submit a bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not meet prequalification requirements. Project bidding documents are available at www.questcdn.com (Quest project # 8921887) or http://www.laytoncity.org/LC/City/Bids. Documents may be viewed online until prequalification requirements are met after which the documents may be downloaded for $42.00. Please contact Layton City at 801-336-3700 if you have any questions. Contractors shall submit the Contractor's Qualification Statement available at the questcdn.com website, under the Q & A sections, to be reviewed by the City prior to January 30, 2024 at 12:00 pm. Upon Layton City approval, contractors will be granted access to VirtuBid. Bidders cannot access the online bidding facility until they are approved on the plan holder list by the City. Layton City reserves the right to approve or deny bidders based upon similar project experience. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not meet prequalification requirements.
- Notice of Special Accommodations (ADA)
- Notice of Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in compliance with the ADA, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aides and services) during this meeting are invited to notify the Engineering Department at 801-336-3700 or by email at dhyatt@laytoncity.org or at least three working days prior to the meeting.
