- Scott Messel Community Development Director Notice of Public Hearing The Washington County Planning Commission will be holding a Public Hearing regarding additions to Title 10, Zoning Regulations, including the Scenic Byway Overlay (SBO) zone, and other miscellaneous changes. Summary: If approved, a new zone would be established covering areas along Scenic Byways. This ordinance seeks to preserve the beauty and natural history of the scenic byways and guide future development. Additional details can be requested in writing. The Washington County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding this matter on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. in the Washington County Administration Building Commission Chambers at 111 E. Tabernacle, St. George, UT 84770. Also, via electronic means through Zoom. Access to this meeting is: Washington County is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
