- The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting November 14, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, UT or can be attended electronically at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82012093604?pwd=OXIxa1pBWWJLTys4NW1RR3k0c1dRUT09 1. Welcome --Mayor 2. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation Pledge of Allegiance Opening Prayer 3. Roll Call - Recorder 4. Approval of Minutes - Mayor October 10, 2023, Regular City Council Meeting held at 6:30pm October 17, 2023, Town Hall Meeting held at 6:30pm October 24, 2023, Regular City Council Meeting held at 6:30pm. 5. Approval of Claims and Requisitions - Mayor Claims Register: Dated 10/24/2023 to 11/13/2023 in the amount of $315,367.69 Requisitions: Approval of Requisition #111020231030 Wood Poles $15,702.00 6. Approval of Resolution 2023-16: A Resolution Requesting the Re-Certification of the Mount Pleasant City Justice Court. 7. Approval of Resolution 2023-17: A Resolution supporting Sanpete County opposing the United States Forest Service's recent land management plan and any conservation designation or restriction of lands in Sanpete County, Utah under the Biden administration's '30 x 30' initiative without the written consent of Sanpete County. 8. Approval of Appointment of City Officials: City Treasurer & Police Department- Mayor 9. Presentation: Relationship skills class for the community-Diana Fischer 10. Discussion on extending water line- Tim Beesley 11. Discussion on Stewart Ranch/Whit Hill Land Swapp 12. Discussion on Carbon Free Power Plant 13. Sixth County - Cade Penney 14. Public Participation Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda.
