- Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated; Section 52-4-202 (6), Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Ferron City, Emery County, Utah, will hold a Council Meeting on Wednesday October 11, 2023, commencing at 7:00 p.m. This will be hosted in the Council Chambers of the City Hall. 1. CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, WELCOME & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 2. CONSENT AGENDA a. Approval of Minutes dated September 13, 2023 b. Write off Closed Account Kelly Ostler 12/27/2017 $ 215.61 c. Write off Closed Account Tiny Tows Real Estate 4/10/2019 $ 122.52 3. Ordinance 2023-2 Abandonment of Street 500 North Hwy 10 (State Street) to 100 East Ferron City will vacate and abandon a certain portion of the street within in the Ferron City Boundaries located at 500 N from Hwy 10 ( State Street ) to 100 East. Roll Call Vote 4. GENERAL BUSINESS / DISCUSSION ITEMS / ITEMS PULLED FROM THE CONSENT AGENDA a. Audit Committee and Risk Assessment b. ETV Donation of $50 for Veterans Guide - They will provide a photo, name and service dates for each person from Castle Country who has served. Roll Call Vote c. Approval of Proposal of Precision Concrete for Sidewalk Repair $9,200.00 Roll Call Vote d. SENIOR CARE RESOURCES FOR UTAH - WOULD LIKE TO PUT A LINK ON OUR WEBSITE https://www.caring.com/senior-living/memory-care-facilities/utah Concerns e. Discussion to Adopt Resolution 2023 - 5 A Resolution to conduct Electronic Meeting f. Vote to Adopt Resolution 2023-5 A Resolution to conduct Electronic Meeting g. Approval to contribute up to $700.00 towards sidewalk repair with Emery School District. Roll Call Vote h. Review of Contract between Ferron City and CityWide, providing services for the Golf Course i. Approval of the Contract between Ferron City and CityWide. $500.00 per month to be taken out of the Advertising Budget for the Golf Course. Roll Call Vote j. Complaint concerning Street Lights k. Moving the minutes from the City Website to the State Website Roll Call Vote 5. REPORTS a. BUDGET REVIEW b. CLOSED SESSION Possible closed session for the purpose of discussing the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; strategy for pending or reasonably imminent litigation; strategy for the purchase, exchange, sale, or lease of real property, including any water right or water shares; the deployment of security personnel, devices, or systems; or investigative proceedings to investigate alleged criminal misconduct. Utah Code ยง 52-4-205. 7. APPROVAL AND PAYMENT OF WARRANTS 8. ADJOURNMENT The public is invited to attend all City Council Meetings.
