- Notice is hereby given The Mayor and City Council of Helper City, A Municipal Corporation will hold a regular meeting on the 7th day of September 2023. At the Council Chambers 19 South Main, Helper, Utah. The meeting shall begin at 6:00 pm. 1- Call to order. 2- Pledge of Allegiance. 3- Roll call. 4- Public Comment. 5- Approval of the minutes from August 3, 2023. 6- Discussion of new role at AOG with Christine Watkins. 7- Proclamation of Welcoming. 8- Proclamation to make September Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month. 9- Discussion and possible approval of local area consent for St. Anthony's Carnival. 10- Discussion and possible approval of event permit. 11- Discussion and possible approval of sidewalks along North Main St. 230 N Main and 378 N Main. 12- Discussion and possible approval of discount on auditorium for cheer. 13- Discussion and possible approval of purchasing two shipping containers not to exceed $8,400. 14- Discussion and possible approval to surplus weed tractor. 15- Discussion and possible approval to surplus dump truck with plow and salter. 16- Discussion and possible approval of purchasing equipter dump trailer/dump truck not to exceed $33,000. 17- Discussion and possible approval of purchasing winter pool cover in the amount of $19,200. 18- Closed meeting to discuss personnel. Reports only from Council Members and Department Heads. Adjournment:
