- NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE The NEW HARMONY VALLEY SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The NEW HARMONY VALLEY SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT tax on a $756,000 residence would increase from $130.98 to $193.35, which is $62.37 per year. - The NEW HARMONY VALLEY SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT tax on a $756,000 business would increase from $238.14 to $351.55, which is $113.41 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, NEW HARMONY VALLEY SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 47.62% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
