- The Board of Canvassers, being the Mayor and the Town Council, certify that the Canvassers Report for September 13, 2023, Central Valley Town Municipal Primary Election for the offices of Town Council. The Election Officer and the Board of Canvassers have reviewed the report detailing the votes cast by the town residents to ensure that it is correct. Office and Term Candidates # of Votes Total Votes Cast (2X) Council Member David S. Nielson 74 205 4- Year Term Susan Staples Outzen 89 205 Wayne I. Lee, Jr. 24 205 Joe Reynolds 70 205 Gary R. Zeluff 27 205 Rex B. Bean 30 205 Charles Billingsley 64 205 Eligible Registered Voters 413 Ballots Cast 207 Ballots Counted 205 By Mail Ballots Not Accepted 2 * Returned Unsigned 1 * Signatures Did Not Match the Voter Record 1 Declaration of Nomination. Based on the primary voting results, the Board of Canvassers declare the following candidates, wo receive the highest number of votes in the primary election, nominated as candidates for offices of Council Member in the general election: Candidates for Council Member 1. Susan Staples Outzen 2. David S. Nielson 3. Joe Reynolds 4. Charles Billingsley The Board of Canvassers for Central Valley Town has prepared a report of the election results for the September 13,2023 Municipal Primary Election. A copy of the full report is available for inspection on the Public Notice Website (www.utah.gov/pmn) and in the Central Valley Town Office at 50 West Center Street, Central Valley, Utah.
