- Notice is hereby given The Mayor and City Council of Helper City, A Municipal Corporation will hold a regular meeting on the 3rd day of August 2023. At the Council Chambers 19 South Main, Helper, Utah. The meeting shall begin at 6:00 pm. 1- Call to order. 2- Pledge of Allegiance. 3- Roll call. 4- Public Comment. 5- Approval of the minutes from May 28, 2023, work meeting, June15, 2023, and July 6, 2023. 6- Discussion and possible approval of purchasing services from All Funeral Services. 7- Update on Arts Festival. 8- Discussion and possible approval film permit application. 9- Update on filming in Helper for Dusty Bluffs TV Show. 10- Discussion and possible approval of appointments to the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Historic Preservation Commission. 11- Discussion and possible approval of lowering the speed limit, painting of school crossing on Bryner Street, a 3-way Stop on Bryner Street and Sunset Street intersection, and possible volunteer crossing guards as proposed by Scott Mckee. 12- Discussion and possible approval designating 2 dumpsters for citizen use with restrictions (no sofas, dressers, mattress, box springs, carpeting, large appliances or green material). 13- Discussion and possible approval of purchasing a truck in the amount of $50,725. 14- Closed session for discussion on personnel matters. 15- Discussion and possible approval of proposed wage increase. Reports only from Council Members and Department Heads. Adjournment:
