- Notice is hereby given that the Payson City Library Board will hold a meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. on November 3, 2022, at the Payson Library 66 S Main St and virtually through a link with Zoom Video Communications. Please check the Payson City Website at www.paysonutah.org for the link to participate and/or view the meeting. Participants/citizens will only be able to attend virtually. Work session 6pm-Dona is providing dinner as a thank you for Library Board Members A. Call to Order B. Approval of minutes of previous meeting C. Public Comment D. Reports 1. Friends of the Library President 2. City Council Member 3. Library Director New position and office Quality Award E. Discussion/Review Items Digital Opportunity, 'Get Rid of the Fence' There may be funds from the federal government for cities to increase digital access. This will be a discussion about Payson City Library has done and may want to do (hotspots, chromebooks, bandwidth speed, change of attitudes, feedback, login/password still needed? Increase Access to special populations 'get rid of the fence' Spanish language Books for long term care Curbside pickup Library on the go Free and equitable versus access Fee increase for non-residents Santaquin is increasing to $60 Slush fund from Friends policy/request Review the library budget over time (p 42 https://www.paysonutah.org/sites/default/files/fileattachments/finance/page/15564/fy_2022-2023_budget_83-3-2022_final.pdf) F.
