NOTICE is hereby given that the WASATCH COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT will hold a Public Hearing on August 15, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in the Wasatch County Council Chambers, located at 25 North Main Street, Heber City, to consider the below listed items: NOTE: This Board of Adjustment meeting will be held in person as well as online via Zoom. For Online meeting participation, please click on the following link (comments can be made during the public comment portion of the meeting once recognized by the host): https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88614898606?pwd=MzNMVk5nWlFib1JoeEJ2QWZmRm9HQT09. Public comments and questions can also be made via email prior to August 14th at 5:00 p.m. Emails should be sent to PlanningCommission@wasatch.utah.gov. For questions regarding connecting to the webinar please call the Planning Department at 435-657-3205. The Board of Adjustment meeting will also be available for viewing live (with a 40 second delay) and afterwards from the Wasatch County Website: https://docs.wasatch.utah.gov/OnBaseAgendaOnline/. 1. Jay Springer, representing Dustin Sidwell, Marie Shelton, and Brian Myers, citing the provisions of UCA §17-27a-103(2)(b) and WCC §16.02.09(A), are appealing the Land Use Decision rendered by the Wasatch County Planning Commission that approved a Conditional Use Permit for Cascade Academy (DEV-6850), granted on May 11, 2023 for an eight bed residential facility for persons with disabilities located at 1374 Red Filly Road in the Residential Agriculture 1 (RA-1) zone. (DEV-8072; Doug Smith) 2. Craig E Carroll requests a variance to Wasatch County Code 16.21.08(F), Location of Accessory Buildings, which requires accessory buildings to be located in the rear or side yard for properties less than 5 acres in size. The applicant desires to build the accessory building in the front yard of a home located at 1624 S Ridgeline Dr. in the Mountain (M) zone.
