- Public Comment/Hearing Notice: Public Health Fee Schedule Public notice is hereby given that the Southwest Utah Board of Health ('Board') in accordance with UCA §26A-1-121, will conduct a public hearing to discuss and possibly take action regarding proposed changes to the Public Health Fee Schedule. The public hearing will be held: Wednesday, February 8, 2023 Beginning at 10:00 a.m. Cedar Heritage Centre 105 North 100 East, Cedar City, Utah 84720 The Board seeks comment by members of the public on its proposed changes to the Fee Schedule. Public comment will be open until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Comments must be received at the Southwest Utah Public Health Department by 5:00 pm Mountain Standard Time on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Comments may be emailed to ksoto@swuhealth.org. U.C. 26A-1-121 (d) The board shall provide public hearings prior to the adoption of any regulation or standard. Notice of any public hearing shall be published at least twice throughout the county or counties served by the local health department. The publication may be in one or more newspapers, if the notice is provided in accordance with this Subsection (1)(d). (e) The hearings may be conducted by the board at a regular or special meeting, or the board may appoint hearing officers who may conduct hearings in the name of the board at a designated time and place.
