- Notice Is hereby given that the Amalga Town Council will hold a scheduled meeting on Wednesday June 14th, 2023. at the Amalga town hall at 6590 N 2400 W AMALGA, UTAH 1. Welcome / Pledge of allegiance. 2. Roll call 3. Public Hearing fiscal year 2023 Amended Budget, Fiscal Year 2024 Amalga town Budget presented by Shantrell Ritter, Impact Fee 2023, 2024 was not ready. 4. Close public Hearing Motion to Close Rick Fonnesbeck a. 2nd Dave Lee 5. Open Public Meeting 6. Approve Minutes from May meeting. Motion By Dave Lee, 2nd Rick Fonnesbeck 7. Sheriff's Report no report 8. 2023 Pioneer Day Celebration report a. See Flyer b. Youth Council will be selling sodas. c. Penny Cowley will be doing Face painting. d. DJ is charging us 1/2 price. e. Bounce houses are free. f. Colette will have food handlers permit. 9. Approve Amalga Town 2023 Amended and the 2024 Budget Motion by: Dave Lee, 2nd Rick Fonnesbeck 10. Council Reports a. Dave Lee No Meeting For Planning and Zoning. Next meeting will be the beginning of July. b. Paul Hansen, We Got 12,000 in Rapz taxes, Spray for weeds and adding bark. c. Rick Fonnesbeck We are going to have to get the test in on time for all the houses. This will need to be done between July and August. We need to find and clean up the water shut off valves talking to Eric Dursteler to take care of it. 11. Mayor's report Lynn's Audio 8,000 to do Sound system for pavilion. Ask for more information for a removable system. Curtis Child would like to be the master of Ceremonies for the 24th. Paul with check with AIS to see If they also do sound systems. 12.
