The Mayor and Council will meet in the Council Work Room for informal discussion and dinner. No action will be taken on any items. No decisions will be made at this meeting. The public is invited to observe the work session. Public comment is generally not taken during work sessions. CALL TO ORDER COUNCIL BUSINESS 1. Calendar - Aug 08 - Work Study Meeting 5:30 p.m. - Aug 15 - Work Study Meeting 5:30 p.m., Regular Meeting 6:00 p.m., Truth in Taxation Public Hearing 7:00 p.m. - Sep 04 - Labor Day Holiday Observation (City Offices Closed - Monday) - Sep 05 - Municipal Primary Election 2. DISCUSSION ON THIS EVENING'S REGULAR MEETING AGENDA ITEMS a) Invocation - Councilmember Miller b) Pledge of Allegiance - Councilmember Crandall c) Consent Agenda 2. Approval of the minutes for July 18, 2023 work meeting and regular meeting. 3. Approval of a Resolution reinstating the Military Waiver for Utilities - Bruce Riddle, Assistant City Administrator/Finance Director 3. DISCUSSIONS/PRESENTATIONS a) Discussion on Building and Zoning Code Enforcement - Scott Stewart, Building Official, and Josh Yost, Community Development Director MAYOR, COUNCIL, AND ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS ADJOURNMENT CLOSED SESSION, IF NEEDED - TO BE ANNOUNCED IN MOTION The Springville City Council may temporarily recess the meeting and convene in a closed session as provided by UCA 52-4-205.
