- NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING Wednesday, April, 12, 2023 7:00 PM Opening Ceremonies Welcome: Mayor Anderson conducting Pledge of Allegiance Invocation: By Invitation The agenda shall be as follows: (The order of the agenda items may change.) Discussion and Action Items Chief Seth Hendrickson, Gunnison Valley Police Department- Request for contribution and Memorandum of Understanding with regards to a School Resource Officer Flood mitigation discussion Richard Peterson- discussion of a home at 806 E. Canyon Road Jack Wilber-proposal for a conditional use permit at 111 E. 500 N. Council Business Review and approval of Claims- Invoice Register from 03/30/23-04/12/23 Review and approval of Minutes- Regular meeting 03/29/23 Mayor/Council Member/Department/Committee Reports Department Maintenance and Upgrade lists. Upcoming Calendar Items- Town Cleanup- April 17-24, 2023 Dog Clinic-April 29, 2023 Mayor Ordinance notification to the residents Unfinished Business Adjourn Notes: Public Comment-Members of the public may address the Town Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Each individual will have up to two minutes to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comments at this time. At the conclusion of each public comment, the Council may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All Town Council meetings are recorded. The Council may vote to discuss certain matters in closed session pursuant to Utah Code annotated 52-4-5 (to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation or the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual, or acquisition of property) . Pursuant to Utah Code Ann. ยงยง 52-4-207 et. seq., Open and Public Meetings Act some of the Town Council and public may appear electronically. Prior arrangements must be made by contacting the Town Clerk at least 24 hrs in advance.
