- PUBLIC NOTICE - PUBLIC HEARING Tuesday, July 18, 2023 3:00 PM This public hearing will be held via electronic meeting without an anchor location pursuant to Chair Jon Nepstad's July 7, 2023 determination: https://townofalta.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/2023-7-7-Determination-Letter-Remote-Location.pdf If you are interested in watching or registering to participate in these public hearings please refer to the instructions on our website: https://townofalta.com/town-government/planning-commission/agendas-minutes/ To make a public comment please register for the Zoom webinar and notify Molly Austin via email (molly@townofalta.com) in advance of the meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you may provide public input in writing on the Town's website: https://townofalta.com/town-government/public-comment/ Public notice is hereby given that the Alta Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday July 18, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard in this matter. This meeting will be held remotely via Zoom. Discuss and possibly make a recommendation to the Alta Town Council to amend Title 10 Chapter 5 of the Alta Town Code to change the Land Use Appeal Authority from the Town Council to an Administrative Law Judge for land use matters. Box 8016, Alta, Utah 84092, by calling 801-742-6010 or by email to ccawley@townofalta.com Notice Provisions: - Motions relating to any of the foregoing including final action may be taken at the meeting. - One or more members of the Town Council may attend by electronic means, including telephonically. Such members may fully participate in the proceedings as if physically present. The anchor location for purposes of the electronic meeting is the ALTA COMMUNITY CENTER, 10361 EAST HWY 210, ALTA, UTAH - Reasonable accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) for individuals with disabilities may be provided upon receipt of a request with three (3) working days' notice. For assistance please call the Alta Town Office at 801-363-5105 - By motion of the Alta Town Council, pursuant to Title 52, Chapter 4 of the Utah Code, the Town Council may vote to hold a closed meeting for any of the purposes identified.
