- NOTICE OF SPANISH FORK CITY'S 2023 MUNICIPAL ELECTION ELIGIBILITY AND RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS FOR ELECTION OFFICE UCA 10-3-301 OPEN SEATS: Three (3) city council positions, 4-year term each, from January 2024 to January 2028, at Large 2023 MUNICIPAL PRIMARY ELECTION August 15, 2023 2023 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION November 7, 2023 This election will be VOTE BY MAIL Candidate Filing Period: Begins Thursday, June 1, 2023 through Wednesday, June 7, 2023 8 a.m to 5 p.m. (excluding Saturday and Sunday) Declaration of Candidacy Forms or Nomination Petitions must be filed with the City Recorder at 40 South Main Street room 130. You must fill out your Declaration of Candidacy in front of the City Recorder. The qualification requirements for municipal office are: A U.S. citizen At least 18 years old A registered voter A resident of Spanish Fork City for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the election The person has not been convicted of a felony /s/ Tara Silver Spanish Fork City Recorder Posted this 22nd day of March, 2023 on the Utah Public Notice Website, the Spanish Fork City Website, and the Spanish Fork City Office.
